This open space greenhouse dome was provided as a tropical research center for the University of CA, Humbolt campus in Eureka, CA. This dome will provide a climatic envelope that will create the necessary environment for both hanging and table supported plants. The clear acrylic panels were chosen to maximize solar gain and have the capability of being seasonally white washed. The large top mounted fan provides multi-stage ventilation capabilities.
