MTO Shahmaghsoudi Virginia Center project uses a trapezoidal dome structure to add signature to their building in Great Falls, Virginia. The dome consists of a 16-face geometry with 4-divisions covering an area of 2,495.7 square feet of surface area. The 43.9′ diameter, 17.67′ high dome is constructed with drop in insulated plywood panels to create a smooth spherical surface. The dome is clad with ceramic tile by others.
