Pyramids are one of the basic structural shapes used for over 4,600 years and now Las Vegas boasts the 8th wonder of the world – the new Luxor Pyramid Hotel. This pyramid, 600′ X 600′ at its base and 350′ high is slightly smaller than the great Choeps Pyramid in Giza, Egypt.
CST’s contribution to the Luxor is the Omni*Hub pyramid at it’s peak which features the brightest lights in the world. Over 136 billion candlepower of spotlights within the 50′ X 50′ pyramid, glazed in clear glass, illuminate the night sky and can be seen 100 miles from Las Vegas and from orbit.
The pyramid top was assembled on the ground and lifted in one piece to crown the hotel.
