Airports use CST spaceframes in many different ways. CST has design/built a “wrap around” Omni*Hub spaceframe in a bright red color that encloses the plant building located at the center of the JFK airport between the terminal buildings.

The all-aluminum spaceframe, with large members provides a decorative framework around the boiler unit disguise the mechanical components. Two of the faces of the spaceframe have aluminum honeycomb panels to provide a unique envelope around both the OLD features and THE NEW plant additions – CST’s icing on the cake.
