This is one of our largest Omni*Hub spaceframe canopies ever built by CST. The spaceframe is on the fourth floor of the parking garage. This large 72′ x 700′ mill finished spaceframe canopy system consists of 1849 hubs and 7032 struts. The spaceframe covers an area of approximately 50,000 square feet. The spaceframe is clad with steel decking that was provided by others. The modular skylight system and the gutter system were provided by CST.

The very high frequency omni range platform, commonly known as VOR, is new technology in the field of aviation. This platform is located amongst the canopy on the rooftop of the parking garage. The radar tower and platform spaceframe was a change order to the existing contract for the Hobby Airport project. This large mill finished 150′ diameter multi-level Omni*Hub spaceframe system consists of 994 hubs and 4,214 struts. The spaceframe is clad with steel grate decking and walkway by others, supported on a steel standoff provided by CST Covers. There is a surface area of 17,671 square feet.
