The Golden Moon Casino is the second casino developed by the Mississippi Band of Choctaw Indians; the first is the Silver Star Casino, in northeast Mississippi. This project is a major expansion of the existing casino across the highway in this very rural location in Mississippi. The globe covers three floors of a restaurant, a bar, and an observation platform.

The globe is an open framework – 82-feet (25 meter in diameter) using a modified geodesic geometry in a 6-frequency form. The globe has one lower cutout section and is mounted on the top corner of a 22-story hotel. The globe is a true signature structure for this project. The globe is an Omni*Hub system with 362 hubs and 1080 struts. Within the globe, there is membrane panels suspended, for about 60% of the area.

The architect on this project is Arquitectonica, a Miami firm known for very contemporary buildings worldwide.
