This pavilion represents the Federal Express success story to millions of visitors while inside. The presentation is the story of “Energy in Motion”. The spaceframe was assembled in a multi-plate form.
Features and Benefits:
- 6′ X 6′ spaceframe
- Multi surface to create two new theaters within the pavilion
- Double membrane with 3 1/2″ of fiberglass insulation attached to the outer struts for cooling and sound control
- Laser tower with projection on the spaceframe surface during the day and the sky at night
- Spaceframe’s network form is expressed outside the structure as well as within
