The Fantasy Dome project – one of the two twin domes planned in a major new state-of-the-art recreational and retailing complex is a multi-faceted project calling upon many of Conservatek’s specialty experts. The basic structure is a 710’/216 meter dome that covers over 3 million square feet of interior recreation/retail area combined in a very unique way.

The facility is a double layer Star*Dome which would create a new world’s record as the largest clear span in the world covering about 400,000 square feet/37,000 square meters. The Conservatek Team in addition to design/engineering the dome was a major influence on the many new state-of-the-art recreation facilities within the Fantasy dome, especially in the area of simulation, telepresence and the use of interior remote controlled activities including airships. One of the remote controlled adventures is a 10′ long airship with built-in cameras.

On the exterior, the tower is also designed as an airship mast. Conservatek put together the team of P.A.E. and HHCP to bring together our multi-disciplined capabilities to create a new type of statement facility – one which will be a model for others with its unique combination of recreation and retailing.
