The Bank One Tower Building has been converted to look like a new building with it’s new “Top Hat” created by Conservatek working closely with the architects. This building is a 22 story high building, one of the tallest in Austin, TX which was sold in the RTC bankruptcy to a new European owner who wanted to re-design the building to give it an identity with a totally new curtain wall system and a new rooftop hat to hide the ugly concrete block house cooling towers on top, left over from the 1970’s type of design.

Conservatek is using its Omni*Hub system to create the structural framework which was a challenge to design since the original structure was not designed for such an extension of a “Top Hat” on top. Conservatek has provided the paneling system on top of the spaceframe to give it a shiny, reflective, champagne gold color.
