A Star*Dome forms the restaurant over the underwater observatory at Coral World in the Virgin Islands. The dome was chosen since it could be shipped to the Caribbean pre-fabricated which eliminated time on the job site working under unusual conditions over the water.

This structure was built on a 40′ diameter concrete cylinder with two floors of uninterrupted view beneath the water line. The exterior surface was finished in silicone and the interior in tongue and groove stained wood. Two spiral staircases descend to the underwater area.
