Splendid China is a miniature model of the major attraction in China that is an entertainment and educational attraction located just South of Disney’s Epcot Center in Kissimmee, Florida. CST provided the design of a 180′ diameter low profile dome to create an amphitheater for the performance of Chinese culture demonstrations.

The dome is built with CST’s dome system and an Omni*Hub spaceframe perimeter truss. The cladding is in vinyl on polyester membrane with Tedlar top coat. The lighting grid and speaker system is suspended beneath the dome and covers over 2,000 seats.
