The Woodland Park Zoo in Seattle, WA contracted Conservatek to enclose their new simulated Tropical Rain Forest/Aviary. The dome is 54′ in diameter and 9′ high with 90 double glazed polycarbonate blown skylights. Conservatek’s unique dome design allows for the zoo to maintain their desired atmosphere.
With birds inside, the Star*Dome hubs feature conical filler plates and decorative covers to provide smooth lines and to prevent birds from perching above.
